In this edition of Field Talk, Farmtario reporter Jennifer Glenney speaks with agronomist Michelle Baker at Millstone Crop Service in Blyth, Ont., about considerations when using fungicides on corn destined for silage.

Baker says fungicide in corn silage is beneficial in preventing harsh diseases such as Northern Corn Leaf Blight to maintain a healthy, clean, corn crop before it’s harvested for the silo.
