Ontario young people won the top two placings in each category in the youth showmanship competition at the World Dairy Expo.
The competition brings together youth from across North America to compete in dairy showmanship.
In the Junior Division (ages 9-12), Junior (Ages 9-12), Keaton Phoenix, of Greenbank, Ont. placed first, with Morgan Howard, of Burgessville, Ont., second.
In the Intermediate Division (ages 13-16) Caden Finley, of Greenbank, Ont. finished on top, followed by Jordan Hawthorne, Listowel, Ont., in second.
And in the Senior Division (ages 17-20), Madison Dyment, of Burgessville, Ont. was first, followed by second place Megan Ford, of Thornbury, Ont.
Curtis McNeil, from Heather Holme Holsteins in Goderich, Ont. placed the juniors, Jamie Howard, EastGen Regional Sales Manager for Western Ontario, placed the intermediates and and Kelly Reynolds, New York Holstein Association executive manager, from Corfu, N.Y., placed the seniors.
There were 337 youth who competed in the 2018 showmanship competition.
