Producers gath in the Dairy Innovations Centre at the 2025 Canada's Outdoor Farm Show for the unveiling of EastGen’s refreshed brand identity while enjoying a complimentary customer appreciation lunch.

EastGen General Manager Brian O’Connor shared his gratitude and company’s vision for the future during the EastGen Evolving Together – Customer Appreciation Lunch that took place on Thursday, Sept. 11, in the Dairy Innovations Centre at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show 2025.

Highlighting the organization’s history and evolution of over 20 mergers since the 1940s — from its creation in 2011 to where it is today with the unveiling of their refreshed brand identity — he emphasized its continued commitment to working with producers to achieve their goals with a “renewed energy for what’s ahead.”

“Today is about saying thank you,” O’Connor said. Proud to be 100 per cent Canadian farmer owned, he said EastGen has evolved throughout the years creating a network that is everywhere and will continue to be in the future — with a special focus on youth development through scholarships and youth events.

Flying Farmers take dedication to agriculture to the skies

For more than 80 years the International Flying Farmers have been creating a space for farmers to share their passion for aviation. Farmtario profiles the Ontario chapter.

In an on-site interview, O’Connor said that the unveiling was an “opportunity to share with customer owners new brand refresh — we’re a company who’s been around 75 years, working with our farmer owners and they’ve changed and so have we — to evolve and keep pace with the advancements in the industry and help them make profit.”

He explained how “EastGen Delivers” means just that — delivering genetic tools and products to help producers leverage their genetics to help overcome challenges they may face.

With a new look and refreshed focus on solutions into all segments, supported by a strong team, genetics and service, O’Connor said the company looks forward to delivering to the producer of tomorrow.

“We’re the same company, same values — passion, teamwork, leadership, innovation, accountability and trust — just as in the past, it’s about the people, they make the difference.” For more information visit eastgen.ca or contact your local representative.
