Sylvite Agri-Services supports local foodbanks

Sylvite Holdings Inc. is once again donating over $20,000 to local foodbanks in the communities in which they do business. This is the second year that the company has donated to local foodbanks.

The company said in a release that those most in need have faced difficult challenges through COVID-19, and “giving back to the members of our community who have experienced hardships these past two years is very important to Sylvite.”

“History has shown that working together, supporting each other, is truly what makes a positive impact in our communities.”

When thinking about how it could give back this year, the company said it wished to support their local food banks, because it has a direct positive impact by putting food on the table of those in need with a focus on the communities in which its businesses operate.

During the pandemic, Sylvite’s businesses were deemed essential and most of its employees have continued to work since March of 2020. With the support of Sylvite’s team of employees, the company has substantially reduced the usual holiday celebrations so that those funds can be directed to those who have been less fortunate during the pandemic.

Sylvite Agri-Service Ltd. agri-services retail footprint consists of 15 locations throughout the Southwestern Ontario Region.
