VIDEO: Canadian Dairy Xpo turns 10

The event brings together thousands of people from the dairy industry

The Canadian Dairy Xpo (CDX) celebrated its 10th anniversary with strong attendance and continued support from the industry.

The show announced that its attendance as 9,190 and a record for its second day with 7,988. The show also launched a new Canadian Dairy Business Summit the day before the show at the Tom Patterson Theatre in Stratford. Watch the Farmtario website for continued reporting on the new summit.

Women who fed a nation

More than 40,000 young women supported the war effort between the 1940s and early 1950s, helping grow and harvest crops amid labour shortages. They were called Farmerettes.
