The Canadian Dairy Xpo runs April 2 and 3 in Stratford.

The Canadian Dairy XPO is Canada’s largest dairy showcase. There will be 350+ exhibiting companies from around the globe bringing the latest in innovation, education, genetics and hospitality to Canadian dairy producers and their families.

This year ushers in the 11th Canadian Dairy Xpo, which brings together farmers, industry leaders and experts under one roof. The action happens April 2 and 3, 2025 with more than 350 exhibitors and dozens of events to celebrate the dairy industry at the dairy expo. Participants will have a chance to get up close and personal with the latest technology and innovations in dairy production.

Research from University of Guelph recognized at global dairy science conference

Dairy at Guelph researchers and students won numerous awards during the recent American Dairy Science Association’s annual meeting.

What are the dates and hours for CDX?

The show happens April 2 and 3, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. There are several different event areas including the Cow Coliseum and German Pavilion. On April 2 CheeseFest takes place after 4 p.m. and Calves for a Cause starts at 7 p.m., both in the Cow Coliseum.

The Canadian Dairy Xpo takes place at the Rotary Complex at 353 McCarthy Road, Stratford, Ontario.

The event is preceded by the Canadian Dairy Business Summit, happening April 1, 2025 at the Tom Patterson Theatre in Stratford. Tickets and more information can be found here.

Where can I get my Canadian Dairy Expo tickets?

Tickets for the Canadian Dairy Expo are available online in advance or at the door. General admission for one day is $25 and $40 for both days. Family packs are available for $40. Single day tickets may be used for April 2nd or April 3rd. If used for the April 2nd entry, then access to CheeseFEST is also included.

Is there a shuttle for the Canadian Dairy Expo?

There are several shuttles running throughout the event. It is a free ride service with three pick up/drop off spots including Festival Inn, Queens Inn and Best Western Arden Park.

Hotel pick up times are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. Hotel drop off times are 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The CheeseFest shuttle offers pick up from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and drop off at 7:30 p.m. View the full shuttle schedule here.

What should I bring to the Canadian Dairy Expo?

The Canadian Dairy Expo is designed to be interactive for participants. The event is held indoors, so you can leave behind heavy jackets. Bring comfortable walking shoes or work boots. There are great food options on site so be prepared to sample some of the finest dairy products in Canada. Don’t forget to join your fellow dairy enthusiasts at CheeseFest happening April 2nd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This event will also feature great cheeses and German treats to try.
