Putting your on-farm data to work

Good data is an essential part of being successful in agriculture. But what types of information offer the most benefit and are they easily interpreted or accessible?

In his technology and innovation presentation at Manitoba Ag Days earlier this year, Manitoba grain producer and on-farm researcher Adam Gurr spoke about the types of data he believes are worthwhile collecting and how that information can be used for more financial benefit.

He was also joined by local seed grower Eric McLean who adds his thoughts on putting on-farm data into practice and what he thinks the future holds for on-farm data collection.
