The federal government is investing $18.4 million in eight Ontario food manufacturers to help them scale up and expand operations.
The recipients of the investment, delivered by FedDev Ontario, are: Ottawa Valley Grain Products, Andriani Ltd., Aspire Bakeries, Baxter’s Bakery, Demetres Manufactory, O’Doughs, Picard Peanuts and Schep’s Bakeries.
The announcement was made June 28 at Ottawa Valley Grains Products in Carp, Ont. by Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Member of Parliament for Kanata–Carleton, on behalf of Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
