Farmtario is excited to welcome Diana Martin to its staff.
Martin has spent more than two decades in the media sector, first as a photojournalist and then evolving into a multi-media journalist. Five years ago she left mainstream media and brought her skills to the agriculture sector.
“Agriculture has been a wonderful challenge and an educational journey,” she said. “I enjoy the depth and breadth of covering the sector as a journalist and developing a stronger connection to where my food comes from as an urbanite-turned-rural dweller.”
Martin, who owns a small farm in Amaranth, Ont., has been published in major dailies internationally and her images have appeared in magazines and in a book.
