Guelph-based chemical firm Engage Agro has picked up an exclusive Canada-wide marketing and distribution deal for the insecticides Ambush 50EC and 500EC.
“Ambush has a wide range of registered use patterns that fit the needs of Canadian specialty crop producers,” said Tom Tregunno, Engage Agro’s product manager, in a release Wednesday.
The Group 3 permethrin products are registered for use on “over 40” crops in Canada and the U.S. for control of various crop pests, the company said.
The company said it will work with the products’ California-based manufacturer, American Vanguard (Amvac) to promote Ambush in Canada.
